That's the gist of my poor brain right now.
I've had perfect attendance for three years now. In high school. Do you know how many days I yearned to not be there? Too many. Alas, I am a good student, and too inhibited to not whoop as I wish to and run outta there screamning like a banshee. Believe me, some days I seriously considered it.
And now, I've missed TWO DAYS because of this virus I've caught, which isn't bad, three years is still good right?
WRONG.
The head teacher notifies my parents, telling them I may have some incompletes on my first term report card- the only one that colleges are going to be looking at. Uh-uh, I don't think so. Three years, flawless attendance, only one (okay, TWO detentions, but not for misbehavior), good academic keep-up, and needless to say, teachers love quiet kids who don't disrupt the class, like me. So, this is the first time HE contacts US. Needless to say, we weren't having it.
And, because The God of Karma and I have such a loving and trusting relationship, it's my luck that I missed TWO college visits. Not one, but two. AND my friend's Halloween party which I was really, reallyt lookign forward too.
Hahaha, sometimes I wonder why people even want to have me as their friend? Why do they hang on? Yeesh, even I wouldn't want to be friends with myself, if I was somebody else, that's not confusing at all. I'm actually a very vindictive and cold and childish person at heart. Sarcastic, too. As if you hadn't picked up on that sweet intonation.
Alas, how now. I get to work this weekend and take SAT's. For the win, honestly.
I'm glad I have this site though. I like to see what's going on; it connects me with a more tenuous link with the outside world.
Anyway, here's a cute picture of a bunny.

The picture is not mine.
I don't own it.
The rabbit is not mine.

However, it is adorable and may cause an unwarranted chorus of "AWWW!"s if viewed by any person.

Do not worry if you have built your castles in the air. They are where they should be. Now put the foundations under them."

I also love your Thoreau quote. I've been studying the link between landscape painting and transcendentalist writing all week so I particularly appreciate it, lol!
